Establishing a Schoolwide Data Team and Conducting Data Meetings

Research evidence has shown it is vital that school leadership establish and maintain a vision for schoolwide data use. Principals should engage a variety of stakeholders on the data team to ensure an understanding of all data within the school related to learning and student achievement. The data team should model how to effectively use data to improve student performance through data-informed decisions.
